REVERSAL // WINTER 2012 ◦ 8 mins ◦ War Drama        

Written and produced after conducting interviews with former Iraqi civilians, Reversal takes place in a world where the economic and sociopolitical realities of America and the middle east are flipped: In the film America is a poor, third world country while a nameless middle eastern superpower is equivalent to the US today.  Military forces from this country have occupied America, searching for and fighting the extremist group that carried out an atrocious attack against their country.  Our film tells the story of these soldiers, and an 18 year old American who decides to take up arms against them after his father is killed in during the initial invasion.
